No photos!

So, I went to the Castroville Artichoke Festival this year with my wife, Tina, and my friends, Dave (founder of Sendori, not the founder of Fanpop who is also a Dave) and Rachel. At the Castroville Artichoke Festival are artichokes, live music, BBQ, cultural performances, food art, arts and crafts for sale, and crazy hats. Yep, crazy hats. There's this guy who sells crazy hats. Witch hats, USA red-white-blue hats, alien hats, pirate hats, mad hatter hats, Statue of Liberty hats, hot dog hats… you name it. Rachel spotted the hot dog hat and put it on and Dave took a picture of her. Then, the crazy hat seller came out and told us that there were no photographs allowed.

He did say he lets people take one picture before he stops them. We looked up and saw that at around the 8-ft height were posted two Please No Photos signs. We apologized and walked on.

No Photos
Dave and I discussed how the no photos policy was probably because otherwise people would just be trying on all his hats and taking pictures all the time.Later in the day, we wandered back to the general area and from a distance I snapped a shot of the pavillion with the no photos signs (I'm not entirely sure why). What was weird was at that exact moment, someone (not affiliated with the booth) walked by and purposefully stuck his hand out in a peace/victory/rabbit-ears sign into my frame. What's up with that?
