Lunch was left over chow fun and beer with snow peas.

We went to a Kosher Mediterranean restaurant called The Golden Ball in Santa Clara for dinner. As usual when I go to a new restaurant, I order a few different items to try out. We ordered a shawarma pita, chicken shish kabob plate (I asked the order taker if he recommended chicken or beef and after quite some time he responded with chicken), a falafel side order, and a grape drink.

Falafel was surprisingly light and fluffy when I tasted it immediately after being served. It was a bit too salty for my liking, but fairly good. The texture thickened a bit as it cooled.

Chicken shawarma in a pita was tasty and flavorful. The pita meal at $7 is the best deal there as it's a decent amount of food and you get a mix of flavors together in one package.

The chicken shish kabob plate was also tasty. Rice was salted just right and salad (of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and letttuce in a vinegar dressing) tasted very fresh. Chicken was tender but perhaps a little heavily salted. The heavily salted foods might be due to the processing requirements needed for the meats to be kosher - I'm not sure.
