Photo of the Day: Fort Bragg Dawn Rocks

I got up early in the morning and hiked down to the beach from our motel in Fort Bragg, California in January 2002 to get this shot. Shortly after this picture was taken, my tripod fell into the water and to this day I still have sand in the tripod legs. That's kind of special since my tripod's fallen into both the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans.

  • Thumbs up!

I like these kinds of time-lapsed water shots.

  • Stunning. Would you consider offering your photos at higher rez? You know, for wallpaper purposes?

  • Wow, gorgeous photography. I am going to have to learn that little trick :)

  • I don't usually post my photography at higher resolutions because a small amount of my income is dependent on the sale of stock photography.
