Photo of the Day: Yellow Rose

I think I've mentioned it in a previous post, but I have a large number of flower photographs. I've been using this photo as my desktop background (on my main workstation) for the last year.

  • I do that too - take huge numbers of pictures of flowers. I've been known to take macros of not just flowers, but also toadstools, leaves, and most recently - Christmas lights (http://www.dinane.net/wordpress/wp-content/ChristmasLight.JPG) I'm lusting after a macro lens so I don't have to stand so far away…

  • Yeah, a macro lens or one that will focus close (my 17-35mm focuses down to 1 foot) is really useful.
