What I Ate: January 1, 2009 (World Wrapps)

Now that it's 2009, I thought I'd try this whole "What I Ate" project again. Last year, I did it for almost three months and several people emailed me after I stopped that they enjoyed the series. So, I'm going to try it again.

The first "meal" of 2009 was at around 2:00 AM while I was at my friend Harold's home for their annual New Year's Eve Game Party. I had two beef taquitos and a couple of Olive Street Table appetizers.

In the mid-afternoon, I ate lunch at the World Wrapps (a Samurai Salmon Wrapp) near the AMC Mercado movie theater in Santa Clara. We tried to see Slumdog Millionaire but they were sold out (apparently New Year's Day is a bad day to go to the movies). We intended to eat our wraps in the theater, but ended up eating in the World Wrapps shop.

For dinner, I heated up some left overs and assembled a variety of foods in the fridge: taquitos, Olive Street Table appetizers, chili, bread, a couple slices of Saag Bavarian Headcheese, and a salad.
