I haven't done many wikipedia searches in the last couple weeks, but here is what I did look up.
May 19, 2010
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Jimmy_Carter_%28SSN-23%29 - The USS Jimmy Carter was the third and last Seawolf-class nuclear submarine built. It was commissioned in 2005

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karaage - a Japanese fried meat. It is usually soy-flavored chicken
May 24, 2010
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_nino - The El Nino Seasonal Oscillation is a warming and cooling pattern that occurs every 2-7 years (averaging 5 years) to the Pacific Ocean causing alternating changes in weather patterns. El Nino conditions have occurred every 2-7 years for at least the past 300 years. In 2010, we are currently in a receding El Nino cycle (Pacific Ocean is warm but cooling)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deepwater_Horizon_oil_spill - The oil leak is astimated to be more than 1500 meters below sea level
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Submarine - Because military submarines need to carry more equipment than research submarines, less weight can be allocated to the thick hull. As a result dive depths of over 1000 meters is very unusual.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_of_Persia:_The_Forgotten_Sands - The latest Prince of Persia game continues the Sands of Time series and not the story set forth by the previous Prince of Persia game (that was title simply "Prince of Persia")
